weekend box office 4/28

April 29th, 2008 by dan

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Baby Mama led the pack on a better than expected weekend. The comedy brought in $17.4 million, which is over half the budget. Coming in second was Harold and Kumar’s return, which pulled $14.9, which is especially good considering the film’s budget was only $12 million. The Forbidden Kingdom snagged third place with $11.2 million. Forgetting Sarah Marshall added another $11 million to its total for fourth place. Rounding out the top five was Nim’s Island, which brought in $4.5 million. The other new film, Deception, barely came in tenth with $2.3 million. Full weekend chart at Box Office Mojo.
