I’ve been looking forward to today for a long time, in fact, other than The Dark Knight, WALL-E has been the film I’ve most been looking forward to this summer. The reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with only two attention-needing ‘critics’ giving it a negative review. (That may sound harsh, and I respect everyone having their own opinion, but if you read their reviews it’s pretty apparent they have a personal bias against Pixar.) So here’s hoping it makes a killing at the box office. Wanted has been generating some really good buzz and reviews as well, so it will be interesting to see how these films do this weekend. But the R rating will definitely limit Wanted’s money-making ability.

WALL-E is the tale of the last trash-compacting robot left on earth, who develops a personality, and soon discovers what his purpose really is. Rated G

Wanted is the story of a nobody who learns he is the son of a great assassin, and that he is destined to join that world. Rated R for strong bloody violence throughout, pervasive language and some sexuality.
