Mark Wahlberg’s next film is the video game adaptation of Max Payne, set to hit theaters October 17. Wahlberg plays a DEA agent whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy. He teams up with an assassin, played by Mila Kunis, to avenge their deaths. Together they battle mobsters, the police and a ruthless corporation. To me, this sounds like a rather generic setup, but if done right it could be pretty cool. Either way, we’ve got two new posters today, via ComingSoon.net. The brick one echoes the video game cover, but I’m not sure what’s going on in the second one. Maybe the film has some supernatural elements? Either way it’s pretty cool.
